More about me... Where do I start? I began my photography with my best friend 15 years ago as Andrea & Renata and then continued the journey with another bestie, Tara, as Tara + Renata, and loved every minute of it! I learned so much through working with such amazing ladies. Drea taught me to have confidence in my vision and to find my voice. Tara showed me how to deeply care for those you are serving. 

This solo business journey is both terrifying and exciting for me. One side of me knows that I know my way around the camera and lighting, and that I can provide families and couples with beautiful images they display for years to come. The terrifying part... what if I fail? What if I can't hack social media and sound insincere or just plain cheesy? Imposter syndrome is real. But the thought of serving a new couple or family with pictures that capture life's most precious moments is what drives me to continue.

When I'm not taking photos, I love spending time with my husband and our kids. I understand how quickly each phase seems to go and that's why I love photographing young families. My go-to coffee order? Years ago I worked as a store manager for Starbucks in Annapolis so I am very particular about my coffee. I love to make my own iced mocha in the morning with my Breville, but if I can't get that then I'll need a Starbucks drink to get me through the day!

• I was born in Brazil and moved to the States at 4 years old.
• I met my husband in High school. He is my opposite and yet compliments me in every way.
• I gave my life to Jesus as a freshman in high school and I have never been the same after that. It was the best decision I ever made - it saved my soul and life!
• I cannot stand clutter. I will deep clean before doing hard mental work.  I find it relaxing and when you are done it feels amazing! Anyone else??
